What We Do

Legacy Gemstones and Metals DMCC will facilitate the trade of all minerals from the beginning of the process to the end.

Legacy will ensure that all inventory bought will be investment-grade level. Prices will be agreed upon and subjected to margins when our process is completed and communicate to all parties. Once agreed the necessary payments will be made, the inventory will be put into transit utilizing our KPC to Dubai.

On an as needed basis, stones will be selected for cutting and polishing. Once cut and polished, the stones will be sent to GIA and then offered for sale to our business partners at an industry leading value. Stones flipped in their rough form will be sold immediately to our defined exits upon inspection. Our entire process will be monitored through an ERP System.

Operational Flow

Step 1

Our team with 16 years of experience, both domestic and international, will examine in detail by inspecting and hand selecting each stone.

Step 2

Identify appropriate rough stones that meet our criteria of investment grade: clarity VS1 upward, H to D color, and no fluorescence.

Step 3

Purchase process begins. Our bidding price will reflect the margins anticipated on the exit

Step 4

The stones will be identified into two categories. Rough to sell immediately and a select few for cutting and polishing.

Step 5

The cut and polished stones will be processed utilizing our strategic partners and technological resources. Once the stones have been cut and polished, they will be sent to GIA for Certification.

Step 6

Re-sell both rough and cut, polished stones directly to our defined exits.

Our technology

THE GALAXY

THE GALAXY

The Galaxy is the world-leading product family for the fully automated detection and mapping of internal features in rough diamonds. The Galaxy XL is the Galaxy system model that enables the fully automated detection and mapping of the internal features of your large rough diamonds (of up to -180 carats). The Galaxy XL maps all the inclusions in the diamond regardless of their type, size, and location. This unique process is performed quickly and automatically without the need for any “windows” being opened or other pre-processing of the rough stone. Predominantly used to identify Colour and Clarity of any given stone. This machine is used in conjunction with the OGI equipment to identify how best to cut and polish any given diamond.

SHERLOCK HOLMES

SHERLOCK HOLMES

The Sherlock Holmes Detector is a portable desktop diamond verification instrument for loose and mounted stones. It is designed to separate diamonds from synthetic diamonds. It is manually operated and requires an operator to interpret the test results. It is also suitable for an environment where you need to test both mounted and loose diamonds. The results can show as following: Diamond Synthetic diamond Refer The ‘Refer’ result could contain potential synthetic diamonds and diamonds. Yehuda recommends further testing with regular UV light or by a gemological laboratory.

SCANOX CAD OGI

SCANOX CAD OGI

Scanox CAD is a new innovation from OGI Systems. It helps Jewelry CAD design to create STL (Stereolithography) file formats compatible to the stereolithography CAD software created. STL files display surface geometry of a three-dimensional object without any representation of color, texture or other common CAD model attributes. The STL format specifies both ASCII and binary representations. Binary files are more common, since they are more compact. Used to identify how to best cut and polish any stone. Scanox CAD suppots small stone, as well as big stones, and provide all the CAD software measurement necessities.
